African Ebony Turning Blanks

Native to Central and West Africa, Gaboon Ebony (Diospyros crassiflora)  is one of the most prized exotics for woodworkers and turners.  The heartwood is black with very little variation.  It has a very fine and even texture and turns and polishes to a high gloss.  These blanks have been sealed in wax to prevent cracks.
