With a variety of ways to locate the center of your arc, both pencil and scribe marking, and graduated beams that can be joined together, Woodpeckers latest OneTIME Tool, the Deluxe Trammel System, leaves a standard set of trammel points in the dust. In addition to all its various uses in laying out arcs, the Deluxe Trammel System also checks diagonals on drawers and boxes, measures the distance between circular holes, and becomes a long-reaching marking gauge. And the whole kit and kaboodle stores on a wall-mountable Rack-It that keeps it right in plain sight and ready for work.

Flexible System for Laying Out Arcs of Any Size!

The three beams that form the backbone of the system are milled from aircraft-grade aluminum, anodized for protection and laser engraved with both inch and metric scales. They come in 12", 24" and 36" lengths. Two adjustable clamps slide onto the beam. Each has a hairline indicator to mark its position on the scale. Once the clamps are locked on the beam, four different attachments thread into the clamps to tackle your most complicated lay out and measuring jobs.

Stainless Steel Pins Machined to a fine point, the pins serve as the axis point for drawing arcs. If you want a physical scribe line, rather than a pencil line, use the second pin in place of the pencil.

Pencil Mounts & Mechanical Pencil If your project calls for a pencil line, our special mechanical pencil threads into one of two pencil mounts, one adds a perfect one inch to the measurement scale and one adds 20mm. You’re covered no matter which measurement system you prefer.

Corner Guides Lay out arcs from the corner of a board using a Corner Guide. (Ever try to do that with a traditional divider-style compass?). And when you're not using them for drawing radii, mount Corner Guides on both ends of a beam and you have a simple and highly accurate way to check diagonals on your projects.

Centering Cones Sometimes, the center of your arc is already a hole. A Centering Cone will naturally locate in the center of any hole up to 1" in diameter. You can also use the pair of them to measure center-to-center distance between any two holes.

With an Edge Guide installed, your Trammel System becomes a marking gauge with a reach of up to three feet.

Like all Woodpeckers OneTIME Tools®, the Deluxe Trammel System is only made to order, precisely machined and carefully inspected in our Strongsville, Ohio facility. The deadline to order yours is Monday, May 13, 2024. Once orders are filled, this tool will be retired from our product line.
