Z-Saw Ryoba 250mm Saw

Ryoba Saws are by far the most versatile Japanese Saw. Ideal for deep cuts both across and with the grain. The crosscut edge has 18TPI and the rip edge 9TPI. The blades of all Z-Saws are made from polished cold rolled high carbon steel. The teeth are cut using a proprietary system using CBN grinding wheels. The teeth are then impulse hardened to HRC 64.0 to 68.2 which is the maximum hardness which can be achieved on steel. The blade is .5mm and 250mm long. The blade is easily removed with a tap on the end of the handle. Remember that these saws cut on the pull stroke using gravity to assist in the cutting stroke instead of using your weight as you would with a standard saw. The blade is 9.8” (250mm) in length. With the rattan wrapped handle this saw is 23” (585mm) long. 

Z-Saw 150mm Mini Dozuki Saw

A joy to use. This compact Dozuki saw is ideal for precise cuts on many woodworking projects. The impulse hardened blade is extremely sharp and meant to stay that way a long time. The blade can be made very thin for precise cuts due to the rigid spine. The blade is a mere .012” (.3mm) thick with 24tpi. This will be the smoothest cutting saw you will ever use. Due to its length, it will fit in most tool boxes. The blade is easily removed with a tap on the back. Remember that these saws cut on the pull stroke using gravity to assist in the cutting stroke instead of using your weight as you would with a standard saw. The blade is 6.25” (150mm) in length x 1-7/8” (47mm). With the rattan wrapped handle this saw is 14.75” (375mm) long.
