Woodsmith Woven-Seat Tall Stool Plan
There are times when it’s fun to shake things up. These stools are one of those projects that we took that approach to. Starting at the top, the material we used for the seat isn’t wood. As you can see, the seat is made of a soft, woven “Danish cord” weave. But don’t worry. The process isn’t complicated, and we will walk you through it. The height of this stool is perfect for use at a kitchen island, a raised bar in a family room, or multiple other settings that require a quick and comfortable place to sit. The remainder of the stools offer some great woodworking challenges also. From the uniquely tapered legs, to the mortise and tenon stretchers, these plans will guide you through the process.
