Woodsmith Wall-Hung Wine Rack Standard Plan & Premium Shop Drawings
This wine rack goes above and beyond with the simple addition of a shelf. A shelf that houses a drawer perfect for the accessories that you need to have close at hand. The parts for the rack, back and dividers are all made from 1/2" plywood. This was a perfect compromise when designing the look of the rack. Using 3/4" material just felt and looked unnecessarily thick. Plus, using the 1/2" material for the back added a lot of rigidity to the case. To keep the scale properly proportioned, the drawer is made of 3/8" material. sizing the case parts. The sides, top, and bottom are joined to each other with miters and splines. A relatively simple construction, but plenty strong for this wine rack. The best part is when you complete this project, at the end of the day you can hang up your tools and grab a corkscrew.
