Woodsmith Turned Canisters Standard Plan & Premium Shop Drawings
Turning wood on the lathe is a very addicting pastime. While there is certainly some woodturning involved in making this set of decorative canisters, you’ll also use several other techniques that will keep you moving around your shop. The canisters are really nothing more than 12-sided staved cylinders, where the parts are beveled and joined edge-to-edge. The open neck top is shaped on the lathe, and a piece of plywood serves as the bottom.
You can purchase the Woodsmith Turned Canisters standard plan or the supplemental premium shop drawings as a downloadable PDF or in a printed format that we ship to you. We highly recommend purchasing both the standard plan and the supplemental premium shop drawings for more in-depth instructions and greater detail.
Used for storage or as a table centerpiece, this set of containers is the perfect project to give as a gift or display in your home.
