Woodsmith Router Bit Cabinet Plan

This dedicated storage cabinet can solve that problem. It offers a storage bay for a dovetail jig and a pair of drawers to hold accessories and oversize cutters. The doors provide room for up to 40 bits, all held in place so the cutting edges don’t collide with each other. Also, clearance holes in the shelf store the routers standing up without removing or backing off the bit. The drop-front lower door provides a great place to change bits, install an edge guide, or just fine-tune adjustments. The door frame acts as a rim to keep bits and bearings from rolling off.
