Lay out rabbets quickly and accurately with Woodpeckers Rabbet Gauge Set. Three precisely machined blocks with 4 dimensions in each block give you a total of 12 common fractional dimensions (1/16" to 3/4" in 1/16" increments). They're perfect for scribing both the depth and width of the rabbet on your material. Whether you cut the rabbet with a dado blade, router bit or hand tools, your layout is there to guide you. But don't take these tools for a one-trick pony. Take them with you when you head to the table saw or router table for fast and accurate machine set-up, too. Set both cutter height and fence position just as easily as you scribed the layout.

The 4" length of each Rabbet Gauge covers most joinery layouts. When you need the line longer, the anodized surface slides easily along the edge of your stock for scribing.
Setting up machines to cut rabbets has never been easier. The generous length of the Rabbet Gauges eliminates the guessing game we all go through when trying to match a normal scale to top-dead-center on a dado blade. And working over the top of dado blades and router bits is easier than trying to match top-dead-center to a gauge block by sight or feel.
We mill the Rabbet Gauges from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum on state-of-the-art CNC milling centers. Dimensional accuracy is held to strict tolerance. After milling, the gauges are anodized in our signature "Woodpeckers Red" finish for surface protection and friction reduction.
