Our African mahogany is a less expensive wood that is usually always in stock. This wood is great for beginners -easy to saw and it holds up to gluing quite well. Build a beautiful picture frame or cutting board with African mahogany wood. The canarywood that Woodpeckers features is great to work with using your hands or power tools. This species has dark reddish-brown to light yellowish-orange colors. Make a pen, tool handle or knife easily with canarywood turning blanks. Our Banksia Pod from Southwestern Australia is one of our rare exotic wood species we are fortunate to have in stock. The Banksia Pod has seed cavities on the outside that give projects a prominent design appeal and texture. Fill the cavities with colored inlay material for a one-of-a-kind look!
