2-Flute Carbide Tipped Template Pattern Bit 1/4" Shank 1/2" Diameter
Whether you're just starting out or working in a really tight space, sometimes there just isn't the room or the budget for a big router and big router table. Don't let your small router limit the projects you take on. Ultra-Shear's 1/2" diameter Carbide-Tipped Pattern Bits with 1/4" shanks tackle larger pattern routing projects even when paired with compact routers (and used carefully).
With cut-lengths of 1/2", 3/4" and 1", this group of carbide-tipped pattern bits covers a wide range of material thickness. For best performance, always use the shortest cut-length that will cover the thickness of your stock. Projects as complex as chair legs and as simple as coasters can be duplicated over and over again by following a pattern against a bearing. Even when you're not looking to make stacks of duplicate parts, pattern routing allows you to refine a shape on a piece of thin, inexpensive material and then transfer that shape perfectly to your final workpiece…with a surface finish that's ready for final sanding.
