Carbide Head 2-Flute Compression Pattern and Mortising Bit 1/4" Shank

SKU
ULTRA-SHEAR-CARBIDE-HEAD-2FL-COMP-PATTERN-25SH-ROUTER-BIT-GROUP

Talk about a multi-tasker! The new Ultra-Shear 1/4" shank Compression Pattern and Mortising Bit cuts ultra-smooth dadoes, grooves and rabbets and is also perfect for pattern routing…even in plywood! With a 1/4" shank, it works in everything from palm routers to 3HP router table motors.

"Compression" bits blend an up-cut tip with down-cut spiral on the rest of the cutting area. This eliminates fuzzy edges or torn veneer on both the top and bottom of your material. But we took it a step further, optimizing the end of the cutter for clean plunge cuts.  Now you can cut clean stopped or through grooves and dadoes in solid wood, plywood, MDF and other man-made materials.

American Made Quality at Factory Direct Pricing

We make a similar bit in solid carbide.  But by brazing a carbide tube to a steel shank, we can offer the same functionality at a significant savings…and no compromise in performance.

Don’t settle for inferior quality imported bits to save money. Ultra-Shear uses state-of-the-art CNC grinding equipment, the highest quality carbide, ultra-fine grinding wheels and skilled Northeast Ohio machinists to produce American-made router bits at extremely competitive prices. The days of paying extra for middleman markups are over. Buy direct from the manufacturer and pocket the savings.
