Repeatable accuracy. Nothing makes work in the shop go smoother than a device that delivers repeatably accurate results. For years miter gauges, router tables and drill presses have used flip stops that give you repeatability when you need it, get out of the way when you don’t and are always ready to come right back to work. Woodpeckers new Rip-Flip Fence Stop System takes the precision and convenience of the flip stop somewhere it’s never been before… your table saw rip fence. Whether you have a specific dimension that you use day in and day out (rail and stile stock width, for example) or need to save a critical dimension during just one project, the Rip-Flip will return your rip fence to the exact same position time and time again.
Woodpeckers Rip-Flip Fence Stop System - Powermatic/Biesemeyer
To use a Rip-Flip Stop, just flip it up, slide the fence until it contacts the brass tip of the stop and lock your fence. It’s that easy. The large knurled brass knob and locking thumbwheel make micro-adjusting and locking quick and accurate. The stops are symmetrical, so they can be set up to contact the left side of the fence or the right, the choice is yours and it takes just seconds to flip a stop from one side to the other.
We weren’t satisfied with just adding flip-stop convenience and precision to the rip fence. We took it to the next level by coupling two stops together to produce perfect fitting dadoes. Stop hassling with repeated trial-and-error attempts to get just the right combination of chippers and shims. Simply assemble your dado stack to at least half the width of your finished dado. Then, with a few turns of the micro-adjuster you can fine tune a perfect fitting dado by making two cuts; one against each stop.
We’re not done. Now that you have the dado dialed in for a perfect fit, the coupled stops can be repositioned anywhere along the rail and the dado will remain exactly the same without ever readjusting anything. Think about fitting multiple shelves in a cabinet. Just slide the fence and the coupled pair of stops to wherever you want a shelf and the dado width is perfect and automatic.
The Rip-Flip for Powermatic/Biesemeyer fits new and old versions of the Powermatic “Accu-Fence”, new and old versions of the Biesemeyer T-Square Fence and most “clones” of the Biesemeyer. If your table saw fence clamps to a 2" x 3" rectangular tube, the Rip-Flip will more than likely fit. We’ve looked at dozens of different T-Square style fences and have come up with adapters and brackets that will work with the vast majority of them. We’ve included all the pieces and parts into the Powermatic/Biesemeyer version of the Rip-Flip. Integrating the Rip-Flip System with your table saw takes just a few minutes. It won’t affect the alignment of your rip fence rail and doesn’t require removing any original parts. Once the track is installed, you can position the Rip-Flip Stops anywhere along the rail, in any combination of right, left or coupled stops.
The Powermatic/Biesemeyer Rip-Flip Fence Stop System is available in 30” and 50” sizes. It includes all the adapters and brackets to make the fence work with almost all T-Square style fences, anodized aluminum track, two Rip-Flip Stops and one dado Coupling Pin. Flip Stops and Coupling Pins are available separately and we offer a pair of Flip Stops complete with a Coupling Pin as a bundle.
Like all Woodpeckers products, the Rip-Flip Fence Stop System is precisely machined and carefully inspected in our Strongsville, Ohio manufacturing facility (just south of Cleveland).

Rip Flip FAQ Updates
**Please Note: The SawStop Rip Flip is only compatible with the T-Glide fence system that has been installed on the ICS (Industrial), PCS (Professional) or CNS (Contractor) saws. It will not function on the Jobsite Saw and will not work with the original premium fence or the extruded aluminum fence on the CNS.
FAQ:
Q: Is this compatible with the Saw Stop Jobsite Pro?
A: No. It is not compatible with the Jobsite Pro.
Q: Is this compatible with the Wixey digital readout system?
A: No. It is not compatible because the Wixey shares the same mounting space as the Rip Flip.
Q: What is included in the Rip Flip Set?
A: Two pieces of Rip Flip track, 2 Stops, 1 coupler and all of the mounting hardware are included with the set.
Q: Does the Dado kit come with the Rip Flip?
A: The two stops that come with the kit can be connected with the included coupler to assemble the dado kit. The Dado Kit is an extra option to add more capabilities to the Rip Flip System. If you remove the coupler of the dado kit you have two extra flip stops that you can use.
Q: Do I have to drill into my Saw Stop TGlide fence rail to attach this system?
A: No. The system attaches directly to the factory fence rail mounting hardware.
A: The quickest and easiest way to determine rip capacity is to look at the measurement scale on your fence rail. Measure from the right edge of the blade to the furthest edge of the fence measurement scale. This is the maximum distance your fence can travel to the right side of the saw blade.
