Ribbon Sapele Lumber Packs
Sapele (Entandrophragma cylindricum) is native to Africa and has a heartwood that ranges from a golden to a dark red brown. It’s known to have a wide variety of grain patterns, from pommele, quilted, and mottled to wavy, beeswing, and fiddleback. This quarter-sawn, or "Ribbon" variety provides superior dimensional stability, along with a beautiful linear ray pattern. It turns, glues, and finishes well, and is commonly used in furniture, flooring, musical instruments, and other small specialty projects. The boards are 3” to 10” wide and surfaced to 15/16”. We’ve selected premium samples of Sapele for this special offer.
