AngleSquare

One reason roofing framers love this tool is that the bird’s mouth cut is created automatically on the back side of the square when you set the rafter angle on the front. It’s a time-saving and accuracy- improving feature you won’t find on any other layout tool. There’s also a chart to help you determine the length of your rafters based on the pitch, and thanks to our specialized laser-engraving techniques, the scale is easy to ready, even in the sun.

Plumbing studs couldn’t be easier. Just hold the blade of the square on the stud and read the bubble level. It’s a more comfortable way to hold the stud and observe the level that trying to read a plumb vial.

If you need to determine an angle on an existing structure, just hold the AngleSquare against the wall and adjust until the bubble reads level. Then, take a reading off the common, hip/valley or angle scale…whichever one is right for the job.

When it’s time for the trim work, you’ll find window and door sill pitch marks laser engraved in the blade. The AngleSquare also works as a bevel gauge to take off angles from existing structures or layout specific angles on your work.

What sets Woodpeckers AngleSquare apart from anything that looks similar is the quality of materials and the painstaking manufacturing process. Each blade is individually laser cut from full-hard stainless spring steel, then machined using state-of-the-art CNC equipment. They’re then textured and flattened on custom-built machinery. And finally, they’re individually engraved to exacting tolerances with deep, annealed, high contrast markings. The two-piece body is machined from aircraft grade aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection and long-lasting good looks. The knurled stainless steel knobs are easy to grip and impervious to anything a jobsite can dish out. Where the blade slides between the bodies, two nylon washers assure a non-marring, smooth operation.
