Manufacturing Engineer

We currently have an opening for a Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for providing input and enhancing manufacturing methods for CNC machined metal parts, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, lean principles, assembly methods and quality control standards.

Essential Duties may include:

• Design and machine fixtures/jigs for milling and assembly line
• Troubleshoot CNC machining production in milling, lathe, laser cutting, sheet metal bending and final assembly
• Evaluates data and product specifications to determine best path for new product manufacturing
• Responsible for evaluating existing processes and workflows to identify areas of improvement
• Will work closely with engineering, production and quality control to develop and improve processes and procedures
• Help identify root cause for quality issues and implement solutions

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution in mechanical or industrial engineering required
• Minimum 3 years experience with CNC Vertical and Horizontal Milling Machines, Haas, Fanuc Preferred.  
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience. Equivalent hands-on applicable experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products, and strong knowledge of Solidworks or other modeling software.
