Live Edge Malerio Colorado Slabs

Malerio Coloardo (Aspidosperma megalocarpon), also known as Mylady and Araracanga, has a bright orange-red to reddish-brown heartwood with a uniform texture and shiny gloss. It’s a very durable species with good dimensional stability and lateral hardness. These slabs are kiln-dried and sanded/planed to about 150 grit. We have taken the pictures after wiping on some water to show off the grain pattern of the slab. The slabs were measured from the center of the board in both width and length.  Keep in mind that these are one-of-a-kind pieces. Wood is a natural product, and pieces may have checks or other inconsistencies.  These are not considered defects.  Thickness +/-1/8”.
