Chakte Viga
Chakte Viga (Copulteria platyloba) also known as Mexican Pernambuco. This species has a pleasant orange-red color that can darken over time. When finished the blanks are strongly iridescent. It is a moderately hard species, that works easily and finishes well. Native to Mexico and other Central American countries. The thin stock lumber is ready for milling. We also have a nice selection of turning stock.
