Live Edge Bocote Slabs
Bocote (Cordia spp.) A very eye-catching species with zebra-like contrasts and very bold figuring. It has a yellowish-brown body with more dramatic brown to almost black stripes. Native to Mexico and Central/South America. These slabs are kiln-dried and sanded/planed to about 150 grit. We have taken the pictures after wiping on some water to show off the grain pattern of the slab. The slabs were measured from the center of the board in both width and length. Keep in mind that these are one-of-a-kind pieces. Wood is a natural product, and pieces may have checks or other inconsistencies. These are not considered defects. Thickness +/-1/8”.
