Amana Tool Plug Planer

Even the best flush cutting saws can mar your project when trimming plugs. Instead, plane the plugs flush faster and cleaner using the Amana Plug Planer. The plastic ring sits flat, protecting your project and limiting the depth of cut. The planing cutter shaves the plug down using your hand drill or a drill press. You can set the depth of cut to leave just the tiniest bit of the plug above the surface and hit that with some 100-grit sandpaper. 9/16" (15mm) opening in the plastic shield accommodates plugs 1/2" diameter or smaller. Shield is 2" in diameter. Tool is 4-3/4" overall length. Universal 1/4" hex shank fits almost any drill made.
