Router Table Fence
Woodpeckers Router Table Fence delivers pro-level features at a budget-friendly price. If you're in the market for a full-featured, top-of-the-line router table fence, nothing compares to Woodpeckers SF-PRO Universal. But, if you need solid performance for less money, this new fence is for you. Compared to the SF-PRO, you still have built in dust collection, adjustable sacrificial fence faces and full fence micro-adjustment (if you want it…save even more if you don't). Fence offsets can be handled with shims, so bottom line what you're giving up is speed and convenience and what you're saving is over $400.
Our fence will fit almost any commercially available router table and is the perfect choice if you want to design and build your own. It will work with any slot spacing between 17" and 25". We incorporated a unique indexing system that prevents the fence from sliding laterally more than an inch or so once you've positioned the clamping knobs to fit your table. Unlike the typical long open slots you'll see on most fences, our approach keeps the fence roughly centered on the bit, which makes fence adjustments smoother and helps avoid collisions between the fence and the router bit.
The core of the system is a formed steel fence with a tough powder-coat finish. It arrives factory-calibrated square to your table. Even better, unlike extruded aluminum "L" fences, our fence can be easily recalibrated if something happens.
The optional micro-adjuster allows you to dial in the fence position with confidence. A quarter-turn moves the fence just .004", letting you sneak up on a perfect fit with fewer test cuts. The 32" length and 4" height give you a large, stable reference surface. The built-in dust port accepts 2-1/2" dust collection hose on the outside, or standard 2-1/4" shop-vac fittings on the inside.
The adjustable, replaceable fence faces let you bring the opening tight to the bit. In fact, if you're working with stock that chips easily, you can feed the fence face into the bit for perfect zero-clearance support. Integrated T-tracks make it easy to add featherboards, stops, and other accessories.
Like all Woodpeckers products, the Router Table Fence is precisely machined and carefully inspected in our Strongsville, Ohio, facility (just south of Cleveland).
