Woodpeckers new EZ-Rules are the simplest, most straightforward measuring tools we make. No extra scale layouts, no hooks or stops and no 3-dimensional features. If you like the bells and whistles, we make a bunch of rules with them and will be happy to help you. But if you want a dead-simple rule, this is the one you want. EZ-Rules measure a perfect 1” wide. They’ve available in lengths of 6”, 12”, 24” and 32”. Both sides are graduated in sixteenths on one edge and thirty-seconds on the other, reading from left to right. That’s it. Simple. Straightforward. Highly accurate. Easy to read…EZ-Rules.
Simple and Accurate Rules from Woodpeckers
While EZ-Rules are our simplest rules, we take no shortcuts in their manufacture. We precision-machine the edges on state-of-the-art CNC milling centers. The stainless blades go through a multi-step finishing process that yields a smooth, non-glare satin finish. We laser-engrave the scales to a tolerance of .004” total accumulated error over the entire length of the tool (the same tolerance used for all our graduated tools). The result is a tool that simply delivers the accuracy you demand and will do so for generations to come.
Like all Woodpeckers tools, EZ-Rules are precisely machined and carefully inspected in our Strongsville, Ohio, facility (just south of Cleveland).
