Woodpeckers BladeSavers protect your valuable carbide-tipped saw blades from damage when they're off your saw. Carbide is extremely hard, but also brittle. While carbide teeth slice through the toughest woods easily, if they run into a nail, they'll fracture instantly. The same is true when they're off the saw. Careless saw blade storage…like stacking blades on top of each other…can lead to chipped teeth. Woodpeckers BladeSavers keep your blades from contacting each other or anything else. Simply wrap the BladeSaver around your blade, snap the master-link closed and hang it up. The teeth are protected from contact…and so are you. No more bandages when it's time to change blades.
