Creating perfect mortise and tenon joints on the Multi-Router couldn’t be simpler. The redesigned template system ensures perfectly sized mortises to match each tenon template. The Variable Stylus Pin even compensates for re-ground or under-sized router bits. The Mortise and Tenon Package includes every tenon size you could possibly need for work as small as jewelry boxes and as large as custom entry doors. With 4 clamps and 4 dogs, you can layout and secure your work with confidence.
Every motion of the router and work piece is controlled by a series of twelve glass-smooth, tight-tolerance linear bearings gliding on precision ground and polished 3/4" steel shafts. All the controls are intuitive and conveniently located. The workpiece travels in the X and Y axes (in-out and side-to-side). The router travels in the Z axis (up and down). Every direction has travel limiting stops and can be independently locked. The Mortise and Tenon Package includes a ProScale digital readout for the Z axis which helps you locate the tenon position on your stock with the push of a button.
