Clamp-Pal
Woodpeckers new Clamp-Pals are clamp pads that protect your projects from glue contact stains and dents from rough clamping heads at the same time. The resilient injection-molded right-angle pads keep your workpiece isolated from both the bar and the clamp head. Clamp-Pals work with 1/2" and 3/4" pipe clamps as well as parallel jaw clamps. Just drop Clamp-Pals on the edge of your stock and clamp with confidence. Clamp-Pals protect your project in three ways. They provide a barrier between your workpiece and the pipe or bar…so no rust, scale, or mill varnish can stain it. The opposing side provides a smooth clamping surface that won't deform the wood like a cast iron clamp head can. And, the hollow recess in the corner of each Clamp-Pal prevents damage to delicate miters and carefully machined edges
Works with Almost All Parallel Jaw and Pipe Clamps
Clamp-Pals protect both the face and edge of your stock on every step of your project and using them couldn't be simpler. Just place a couple Clamp-Pals where you your clamp is going and then position your clamp. The two faces have different radius profiles to closely match both 1/2" and 3/4" pipe.
Best of all, Clamp-Pals work with most clamps. The square corner of a Clamp-Pal registers on the corner of your work. It doesn't attach to the clamp so it doesn't matter whether it's a 60-year-old hand-me-down pipe clamp or a brand-new parallel jaw clamp, the Clamp-Pal is going to fit, prevent staining and distribute the clamping pressure evenly.
Like all Woodpeckers products, Clamp-Pals are manufactured in Strongsville, Ohio, just south of Cleveland.
