Black Walnut (Juglans nigra) is one of the most popular domestic woods. Heartwood can range from a lighter pale brown to a dark chocolate brown with darker brown streaks. Color can sometimes have a grey, purple, or reddish cast. These boards contain a unique figuring with grain patterns that vary widely—no two boards are the same.
