Redheart Turning Blanks
Readheart (Erythroxylum spp.) Redheart is a species that grows from Southern Mexico down through Brazil and Paraguay. It is also referred to as Chakte Kok and may come from two different genus of trees that have a similar appearance but are not botanically related. The color of Redheart ranges from light orange-pink to strong watermelon pinkish-red and has more grain pattern than Bloodwood. It does tend to fade with time to a orangish-brown and a UV protectant finish is recommended to slow this process. Due to wood movement, shrinkage and expansion, please measure each piece carefully. The stock is surfaced on four sides and dimensioned within +/-1/8” of size listed.
Due to international shipping restrictions, we can only ship this product in the United States.
