  1. Woodpeckers Saddle T-Square

Whether you have 40 years of woodworking experience or 40 hours, those tiny lines on rules and tapes can be difficult to see and even more difficult to transfer accurately to your work. Woodpeckers Saddle T-Squares improve your lay out accuracy with three unique features – a series of holes to guide your pencil, an edge that wraps around your work, and a high-contrast laser-engraved scale. These three great features are packed into tools that easily drop in your shop apron or carpenter jeans pocket, so you’re always ready for precision layout work.

  2. Woodpeckers Stainless Steel Squares
For a few years we’ve been experimenting with different stainless-steel plate stocks, trying to find one we could machine as consistently as the cast-and-ground tool plate aluminum we use in our Precision Squares. When we found one, we put many of the features of our aluminum squares into the new stainless-steel design, and then added a few more, too. The result is a versatile square, ideal for project lay out work, material and assembly checking and machine set up. Learn More
  3. Precision Woodworking T-Square

Drawing straight, accurate lines can be challenging when relying on a tape measure and a scrap of wood as a straight edge. Now there's a better way, the new Woodpecker T-Square. Whether working off a factory cut edge or not, the Woodpecker T-Square will help you draw straighter, more accurate parallel lines in less time than you can imagine.

  4. Woodpeckers Woodworkers Edge Rule

When doing layout work on the narrow edge of stock, most typical woodworking rules are a little awkward. They usually need to be aligned to the face of your stock, but they're wider than the edge you're trying to measure, so you can't get to the stock to mark it without giving up the alignment you just carefully adjusted. Working on the face of a piece is usually a little easier, but you can still struggle to keep the edge of the rule parallel to the edge of your work.

In the hills of western North Carolina professional woodworker Greg Paolini builds one-of-a-kind commissioned furniture and exquisite custom kitchens. In his spare time, he tries to figure out how to make woodworking faster, easier and more enjoyable. A simple add-on rule-stop and thoughtful calibration layout make these the perfect fit for your apron pocket. Answering thousands of requests, the Paolini Pocket Rules are now joining our permanent product line-up.

  6. Edge Rule Rack-It and Stop

Woodworkers love the Edge Rules we introduced in the Fall of 2018. Sales have exceeded all expectations and customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. One request our “early adopters” made over and over is an adjustable stop, so our product developers put their heads together and came up with a simple, economical stop that fits the Edge Rule profile like a glove. With the stop in place, it didn’t take long for one of our clever developers to figure out that we could now hang the Edge Rules in a storage rack.

  7. Precision Triangle
For decades, craftsmen have used squares to layout projects on flat work pieces. Another handy layout tool, but often overlooked, is a triangle. It simultaneously serves as a square and a 45, all in one. A pocket or apron sized triangle is just the tool for squaring from the inside of boxes and drawers during assembly. Triangles are also great tools for quickly drawing perpendicular lines from an inside reference edge. Learn More
  8. SERX Straight Edge Rule
Get it straight. Whether it's your jointer or table saw, getting multiple horizontal surfaces on the same plane can be a challenge. Woodpeckers new 24” Straight Edge Rule will simplify this task along with numerous others in your shop. Learn More
  9. 6" Carpenters Square Red with Inch Graduations
Quality furniture construction is easier to accomplish with quality tools. Our new 6” Carpenters Square is just such a tool. It's a perfectly machined combination 90 and 45 with handles for a physical reference to the edge of the work piece. Learn More
  10. Woodworking Rules

What makes our new Woodworking Rule better than your average yardstick? First it's much more accurate with precise laser engraved markings. Second it's straighter and heavier. Third it sits flat because of a recess down the center of the bottom surface. Fourth, it has both a standard and a center scale. Fifth, the markings are engraved on a 30 degree bevel for easy alignment to pencil marks. And finally, it looks nicer.
