Brazilian Rosewood (Dalbergia nigra) started becoming scarce in the late ‘60s and the sale of newly harvested trees has been prohibited since 1992. We have secured a very limited quantity of Brazilian Rosewood square stock that you can own and enjoy without violating any laws or feeling like you’re destroying the rain forest. This stock has been in boxes at a well known guitar maker for over half a century. The 1-1/16" squares are off-cuts from the days when the backs and sides of the very best acoustic guitars in the world were lovingly built with Brazilian Rosewood. We have obtained this stock with all proper CITIES export/import permits and documentation. The pieces are rough-cut from the sawmill. We have 1-1/16" square stock available in three lengths; 3", 16" and 20". Create inlays, knobs and accents on your furniture projects, turn a box lid finial, a bottle stopper or a one-of-a-kind tool handle as a truly special gift. Or, turn a pen that will be cherished forever. We have three sizes available 1-1/16” square by 16”, 1-1/16” square by 20” and 1-1/16” square by 3” to fit most single tube pen kits.
Due to international shipping restrictions, we can only ship this product in the United States.
