  1. woodworking adjustable track square
The modern track saw has taken the market by storm. It puts industrial table saw accuracy in the field for remodelers and trim carpenters, and for the garage and basement woodworker, it cuts the shop space required to handle sheet goods in half (compared to a table saw). The concept is simple…put the guide rail on your workpiece, drop the track saw on the guide rail, and a straight cut is guaranteed. But, “straight” isn’t enough. Cuts typically need to be parallel to an existing edge, perpendicular to an existing edge, or at a specific angle. We took care of “parallel” last year when we released the Parallel Guide System. Now we have “perpendicular” (and nearly every other angle) under control with the Adjustable Track Square. The Adjustable Track Square mounts to your Festool, Makita, or Triton guide rail in seconds. Once it’s mounted you have locked-in accuracy for square cuts and cuts at any angle up to 60°.

  2. Woodpeckers Slab Flattening Mill

The hottest trend in interior design these days is live edge slab table tops. And, why not? The natural curves of the trunk give an organic feel. The crazy grain patterns in crotches and burls are eye-catching.  Even cracks that would have sent lumber to the burn pile just a few years ago are being controlled and enhanced with butterfly patches and epoxy inlays. However, slabs present some challenges in the shop. Overall width and weird grain changes make the use of a jointer and thickness planer impractical if not impossible. Woodpeckers new Slab Flattening Mill makes it simple to use your router to flatten and thickness slabs right in your own shop faster and easier than you ever thought possible.

  3. Parallel Guide System

Repeatable Rip Cuts from Your Track Saw

Everyone who has wrangled a full sheet of plywood around a table saw immediately recognizes the advantages of track saws for breaking down sheet goods. Keeping the unwieldy sheet stationary and moving the saw down a precision-made rail makes a lot of sense, but how do you get two (or more) pieces to come out exactly the same width?  Just like the rip fence on a table saw, Woodpeckers new Parallel Guide System takes measuring and marking out of the equation and uses a physical reference to ensure your last cut is exactly the same as your first. The Parallel Guide System locks onto your Festool, Makita or Triton guide rail and instantly aligns the cutting line parallel to, and a specific distance from, the edge of your stock.

  4. DF500 Offset Base System

The Ultimate Aftermarket Accessory for the Domino Joiner!
(Fits Domino DF500 out-of-the-box and the Domino XL700 by adding the XL700 5mm Adapters)

Woodpeckers DF-500 Offset Base makes Festool’s two Domino joinery tools even better. It provides a much larger and more robust indexing platform that insures proper mortise geometry even when making large runs of cabinet and furniture parts. When we first brought out the Offset Base as a OneTIME Tool, we designed it around the original Domino DF-500. Before its second production run, Festool released the Domino XL and we realized it only took a pair of 5mm thick spacers for the Offset Base to work with the new bigger unit. Now that we’re making the Offset Base available all the time, you can get it ready for your Domino XL simply by adding the XL700 5mm Adapters.

  5. Variable Router Jig

Slides and Locks to Make Any Template You Need

Router guide bushings change your hand-held router from an uncontrollable project destroyer into a precision milling machine. But, creating the jig you need to use guide bushings is an enormous chore that wastes time and material and hardly ever yields something that can be used again after the current project is complete. Woodpeckers new Variable Router Jig lets you create a perfectly square template any size from a couple inches up to 13" x 13" or 13" x 27". When you’re done with that project, it instantly reconfigures to the next template you need. When you don’t need it, it breaks down and stores away in a small space, waiting for your next project…no more wall full of purpose-built templates gathering dust while you try to remember what they’re for.
