Whiteside Single Bit Tongue and Groove Have you ever wanted to make a tongue and groove joint but didn't want to spend the money on a two piece set?  Now you can accomplish just that with this new, single bit tongue and groove assembly.  What we really like about it was that no re-configuring was necessary.

Step 1 is to make the tongue, that step uses the whole cutter as in “A”.  For the groove, you simply lower the bit to align the top cutter with the center of the groove board as shown in “B”.

This router bit is designed to work with material from 1/2" to 13/16” in thickness.  Carbide tipped, replaceable cutters.  And also, because the two blades are separate, you can orient one tip at each 90 degrees which will reduce vibration for a smoother cut.
