Now you can easily determine what the correct size is and in just one trip to the “coffee can of odd hardware” find the perfect match. Think about how simple it would be to use the stud or nut of the test knob to determine the size and thread pitch you need and then use the other end to find a matching one.

All the knobs are securely threaded onto a steel cable and separated into eleven metric and fourteen inch sizes.
