Super Track Applications

BENCH TOP CLAMPING STATION
This bench top clamping station uses (2) pieces of Super Track of whatever length is needed to span your bench, (4) Super Track Clamps, (2) 302F Toggle Clamps and (2) Magnetic Clamping Blocks. Ideal for clamping panels up to approximately 24” wide assuming your using 36” Super Track.

TOGGLE CLAMP CLOSE UP
Here you can see the 302F Toggle Clamp attached to a wooden base and secured to the Super Track with (4) 13-KN105 knobs and ¼-20 hex head bolts. The use of a clamping block is optional but it does help to distribute the force across a wider surface area. A Woodpeckers Magnetic Clamping Block is used in this photo.

FRAME CLAMPING WITH EMBEDDED TRACK
This example shows Super Track embedded into ¾” Finnform Plywood. This is a high end fixture board material that we sell a couple times a year. For this frame clamping setup, we also use (2) 6” Precision Clamping Squares and (2) Miter Clamp Sets. Actually we're only using one half of the Miter Clamp Sets, the part that looks like a Pac-Man mouth. And lastly, (2) of the 302F Toggle Clamps.

WOODEN BLOCKS
Wooden blocks can be used as the back stop instead of Super Track Clamps.

CLAMPING WITH THE WEDGE
For larger claming projects, it might be advantageous to position a Clamping Square to the outside of the joint and a Clamping Wedge to the inside. For this type of jig, (3) pieces of Super Track are embedded in a fixture, bolted in from underneath to form an “X” configuration.
