Steel Miter Bar

It doesn't take long to decide that making your own cut off sled, tenon fixture or any number of other jigs is the way to go. Let's face it, you can have it now and the way you want at a reasonable price. Often at just the cost of scraps.

Many jigs, particularly those built for table saw applications need a miter bar. Woodpeckers now manufactures a simple, durable and easy to use steel miter bar. Available in two lengths, 18” and 24” (actually 23-3/4”). Both of these bars have numerous drilled and tapped holes of 10-24 or ¼-20 thread. You can easily bolt this bar to both 1/2" and 3/4" material. Some screws are included just to make it easier.
