Side Kick Clamps

What are Side Kicks? They're clamping devices designed for aligning joints prior to and during clamping. Side Kicks straddle the glue line on the ends of the boards.
Because they're spring loaded, they keep the joint aligned while you're positioning the bar clamps across the panel, kind of like a third hand. Once the bar clamps are in place, you simply add a clamp to the Side Kicks for maximum pressure.

The Bessey 6” Tradesman Clamps are ideal for this ( 13B-TGJ2506) . Typically, you'll need two Side Kicks per seam. Sold individually. Keep in mind, that if your panel has more than one seam, and or is longer than 24”, you may want to consider flat bars as well. U.S.A. |
