FLATTER PLATE
We start with a super-flat, cast, Blanchard ground 9¼ " x 11¾ " by 3/8" thick aluminum plate. To ensure a perfect fit with the table opening, two edges have adjustable spring loaded brass plungers and eight threaded set screws for leveling.

DUAL LIFT SCREWS
Only the Woodpecker PRL is built with dual, lift screws for smooth, even adjustments while firmly supporting 18lb router motors. Models are available in either 1/16 th or 1/32 th pitch giving you the choice between extremely fine or very fast adjustments. To make set up even easier, each PRL has two separate, adjustable scales which can be calibrated to your starting position then used as a reference for future adjustments.

OIL IMPREGNATED BEARINGS
All the PRL bearings are oil impregnated. They maintain a light oily surface to reduce friction and increase life.

WIDEST POST SPAN
The motor carriage glides perfectly on ground and polished 1.025” diameter steel posts. At 10-1/2”, the span between posts assures rock solid perpendicular alignment to the mounting plate.

AUTOMATIC BRAKE
No other lift features a built in, automatic brake. The PRL's brake lock system prevents vibration from causing unwanted lift screw rotation. The brake is automatically released when the crank tool is inserted into the lift sprocket and reactivated upon crank tool removal.

QUALITY CRAFTSMANSHIP
Every part of the PRL, from the precision steel lift screws, the polished steel posts and the meticulously machined rings are crafted to exacting levels of accuracy rarely found in woodworking equipment. Many tolerances of the PRL are measured in .0001” increments.

THE ORIGINAL PRL IS BEING DISCONTINUED.

Since 2001, the original Woodpeckers Precision Router Lift (PRL) has been a rock solid router lift known for its accuracy, durability and out-and-out precision. Production of PRL parts stopped months ago and soon we will be assembling the last of this model.

We're extending a special opportunity to all interested woodworkers to own a classic American made router lift for only $199.99. It's been about nine years since a PRL sold for that price. That's a savings of $130 from the current sale price.

It comes with a one year warranty and we expect to have spare parts for a couple years after that.
