Machining your stock to accurate dimensions is the first crucial step in any project build. If you mill it too thick or too thin, you'll be dogged at every stage of the project. Joints are harder to machine accurately and parts won't fit properly. Even a well-planned project can quickly become a pain in the neck.
Paolini Planer Gauge; Fast, Easy, Accurate. Using our planer gauge is a no brainer. Just slip the selected notch on the edge of your material and you'll instantly know if your stock is the correct thickness. You can also use wider notches during your passes through the planer to keep track of where you are in the process. It is The “Go/No Go” gauge for planing lumber. Hang it on your planer so it's always at hand when you need it.
Perfectly Machined Thickness Gauges . The Paolini Planer Gauge features 13 different notches that match most material thicknesses you commonly need for cabinet and furniture work. The notches start at 1/4 ” and progress in 1/16 th inch increments up to 1”. The gauge notches are machined on our state-of-the-art CNC equipment insuring total accuracy.
Made Accurate, Stays Accurate. Our Planer Gauges are manufactured from 1/4” thick phenolic material clad with white melamine. We chose phenolic for its dimensional stability. It is unaffected by heat, humidity or even water guaranteeing accuracy no matter how shop conditions change over the seasons. And phenolic is rugged so it won't warp, twist or crack. The white melamine is the perfect background for easily reading the laser engraved notch sizes. Each size is given in large-type fractions and decimal on one side and fractions and millimeter dimensions on the other.
DON'T DELAY! Deadline to order your Paolini Planer Gauge is Monday Dec. 2nd, 2013. Delivery is scheduled for March, 2014. We make only enough One Time Tools to fill orders placed prior to production. Once the deadline passes, OneTime Tools are retired from our product line. Like all OneTime Tools from Woodpeckers, the Paolini Planer Gauge is made to order in our shop near Cleveland, Ohio.
