Magnetic Clamp Blocks

Woodpeckers' new Magnetic Clamp Blocks will improve the performance of your clamps. Most woodworkers spend a small fortune on clamps. One problem with most of them is the small surface area of the actual clamp pad. Combine that with the marks and dents typically left by their rough finish, and you have even more reasons to appreciate these new Magnetic Clamping Blocks.

Each Magnetic Clamp Block has two smooth, machined flat surfaces. Embedded in one side is a steel encased, rare earth magnet. The casing is set .010” proud of the block face to ensure maximum holding power. The incredible strength of this steel encased magnet allows the Clamp Block to stick to ferrous metal clamp faces. You'll not only get a much smoother clamp face, but also three to four times the surface area. This increased clamping area reduces the number of clamps needed to hold a joint in place as well as reducing damage to the board edge.
