Woodpeckers DP3 Drill Press Fence

One of the most requested items for our popular Drill Press Table is a tall fence for supporting stock on edge. This is particularly helpful when drilling out mortises. It took a few years but we finally got around to it. This is a rather heavy fence, 3/8 thick x 3 x 3 x 23-1/2 long. Both the bottom and front are machined to give an accurate 90 degrees from the table.

The two inch wide center notch provides for chuck clearance so that short drill bits can reach the table. (Keep in mind that the standard ½” tall fence is more ideal for small diameter, short length bits.)

Two extended length knobs lock the fence to the T-track in the Woodpeckers Drill Press Table and are easy to reach from the front. If the table is up close to the chuck then you can shorten the clamp knobs with shorter bolts that are included. This reduces interference with the quill handles.

Anodized for durability. This surface treatment eliminates aluminum marks on wood.
