Bevel Triangles

An accurate triangle is more useful for woodworkers then what one might think.  It simultaneously serves as a square for inside 90's and also for 45's.  In addition, unlike the open legs of a conventional square, a triangles angle leg solidly supports the two perpendicular legs.  Thus, this tool will hold its accuracy for a life time.

Like all our precision measuring and layout tools, Woodpeckers manufactures the Bevel Triangles to very tight tolerances for the discriminating woodworker.  Each one is meticulously machined from solid aircraft grade aluminum plate, anodized for durability and laser engraved with high contrast scale markings.

All perimeer edges of the bevel rule open down toward the surface of your work piece on a 30 degree angle dramatically improving the accuracy of line placement.

The two right angle legs have a standard 0 – 6”, 12” or 18” scale and the angled leg has an even more useful center scale. Center scales have the zero in the middle with inch markings fanning out in both directions from there. The center scale is a big time saver for locating the center of your work piece and symmetrically laying out grooves, dados or dowel locations.

The 6” Bevel Triangle is the perfect size for setting up machinery, making drawers and boxes, as well as cabinets and furniture. The 12” Bevel Triangle is the ideal size for working with solid lumber and furniture projects while the 18” Bevel Triangle is sized for larger cabinet projects utilizing sheet goods. Each Bevel Triangle comes in a fitted wall mountable wooden case to protect it and keep it conveniently in view.
