Bessey
Utility Knife

Who knows how long utility knives have been around. Most of us own at least one. They're handy. Great for opening boxes, cutting textile, leather and in at least my case, frequently used for trimming burrs from box joints, dovetails, mortises and such.
Apparently Bessey decided that we need a better one. They just might be right.
These new utility knives are designed like a folding knife with the advantages of not needing re-sharpening. We carry two different styles, a non-slip and wood handle version. Either can be opened or closed with one hand. You can also change the blade without any tools. It's held in place by a clever plate and clip design.
A polished clip is nicely formed and attached to the side with small polished screws, a nice touch. They're a folding type knife which gives you length and leverage when you need it yet folds to better fit in your poocket. Beyond that, each one has its' own unique features.
The non-slip style actually has a steel body coated with a non-slip rubber material. A red cap pops open with the slide of a switch revealing five replacement blades. It's a little wider than the wood/steel version. Solid, hefty feel.
The wood handle version looks and feels great. It doesn't have a blade storage compartment which makes it narrower and easier to fit in your pocket. Very handsome.
